This page will provide information for India Bookworld policies for shipping, returns and exchanges. We take utmost care in providing a high level of service and our aim is to achieve 100% customer satisfaction with all fulfilled orders.
In stock books and media will typically ship within 2-3 business days.
We can ship products anywhere in Canada, the United States or any international destination. Once an order has been placed, we will update your order with tracking details. You will be notified of the order status or any changes via email. Orders will be mailed by either Canada Post or FedEx.
Our shipping charges are determined by the shipping destination and shipping method selected, excluding applicable sales tax. All Canadian orders are subject GST/HST.
Pick Up in Store
Pick up in store orders will not be charged for shipping.
Orders can be placed online and requested to be collected at our bookstore in Surrey during regular business hours.
To pick up your order, you will need to provide your order confirmation (sent via email when you place an order online), along with one (1) piece of valid, government-issued photo ID. If someone else is picking up on your behalf, they would need to provide your order confirmation along with one (1) piece of valid, government-issued photo ID.
If you are dissatisfied with your order for any reason, you can return your items for a prompt refund or exchange. Refunds for items returned within 14 of the purchase date will be credited in the full amount (excluding shipping charges) and the same form as the original payment type. Any claims for damaged order or missing items must be received within 2 business days of receipt of package.
India Bookworld will only accept returns for:
- Any book in its original condition
- Any unopened CD and DVD which has its original plastic wrap packaging.
The refunds are processed usually in about 2-3 weeks. Most refunds are fully refunded in 2-4 days after we receive and process your return.
We can only replace the exact book or DVD you ordered - provided the item is in stock. You are responsible to return the damaged item within 14 days. If you want to exchange for a different item, you will need to return the item and place a new order.
If you would like to cancel your order, you can do so provided that the order has not yet been shipped. If the item you want to cancel has been shipped, the order cannot be canceled. However, you can return the item for a refund. See our Return policy.
