Guru Tegh Bahadur was the ninth Sikh Guru, born in 1621 in Amritsar, India. He is remembered for his bravery and dedication to justice, especially when it came to protecting people's right to practice their own religion. During the reign of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, many people were forced to convert to Islam, but Guru Tegh Bahadur stood up against this. He took a bold stand to protect the religious freedom of Hindus in Kashmir, even when he was threatened with death. In 1675, he was martyred for refusing to give up his beliefs. His sacrifice is seen as a powerful symbol of courage and standing up for what’s right. Guru Tegh Bahadur taught the values of kindness, fairness, and always fighting for freedom and justice.
