Recipes in this have been presented after a thorough research of street food vendors and food stall owners in old Delhi (or Puraani Dilli) areas of Chandni Chowk and Daryaganj.  Delhi's food is rich and varied combining Punjabi, Mughlai and tasty vegetarian food of Uttar Pradesh.  The book starts with a section on Chaats which is followed by Nashta (or snacks).  All recipes are modified and made simple to cook and serve, retaining the authenticity of the food. Vegetarian recipes accompanied with color and black and white pictures.
